Thinking of moving your site from one host to another? Matt Cutts has posted an article on Moving to a new web host.
Its focus is on how to shift hosts without having problems with Google. In a nutshell, you begin by backing your existing site at the new host, change the DNS, then wait until the changes have fully propagated, then shut down the old site. However, he includes more useful information on this process. There is even more under the Google/SEO item in his Categories archives at the right side of the page. At least a few useful nuggets in there. __________________ ::
