Default Free-to-use images

A regular problem in the web and paper publishing world is locating that free-to-use image. Google & Yahoo! searches may show some useful images, but provide no information about copyright, usage restrictions etc. except dor a disclaimer. I usually work on the basis that any image on the web cannot be used elsewhere unless there is a statement to that effect on the same page as the image.

Step forward Yotophoto, a search engine indexing free, GNU FDL, Creative Commons & public domain images. Not only are the images shown, but the nature of the licence. A useful and growing resource.
