Default [PR] Buy fonts, aid tsunami charity

A bunch of type designers and foundries have marked special fonts for Font Aid III. The fonts are for sale at their regular prices, but all proceeds go to tsunami relief in southern Asia.

Direct Relief International is running the charity side of the program, and the Society of Typographic Aficionados (SOTA) is managing the font industry connection.

So they aren’t cheap. But there are dozens of fonts on the list, some of them fabulous and some hard to find, including two of my favorites, Today Sans and Zapf Renaissance.

Visit My Fonts to see the list with one-line specimens, and (at the bottom of the list) find more information about Font Aid.

The deal expires February 15. (The fonts will probably remain available, however.)
