Disk Space
Hi
Does anybody know how to stop Macs from "eating" available disk space unnecessarily whilst you're using applications? I'm trying to do a montage in Photoshop & I've got just over 1GB free disk space. After I've copied in a couple of photos into my montage & edited them I suddenly get a message saying that my scratch disk is full! Now it's not because my montage is so big that the file size is 1GB... OS X seems to take this extra hard disk space & make it unavailable for some really annoying reason. I've done searches on everything I can think of to find out why, but I've had no luck. Is there anyone out there who knows how to stop this from happening? Or how to get the space back without having to restart the Mac? Yours forever grateful, Archers. x |
