I am trying the Foxit PDF Reader, instead of the usual Adobe Acrobat Reader. This company gives away the reader, which is faster to load than Adobe Acrobat, but they have other PDF creation and editing tools to sell.
As for Adobe Acrobat, I am puzzled how they seem intent on bundling Google stuff with the download for the current AA reader. Maybe there is a way to just download the reader, but I couldn't find it. Well, I have it on another computer, so I could get it going on the new one, but I will give the Foxit reader a chance. |
