andrew: The combined setup just stopped working on the send. Does this sound like the kind of problem relay personality can fix.
Yes!

Let me go get the info...

First...if you don't already have a personality set up for your outgoing mail server do that:

1. Click on the Personalities tab

2. Right-click any personality and choose NEW and fill out the appropriate fields as it walks you through the process

3. For all personalities make sure to CHECKMARK "use relay personality, if defined" option (if you right-click and choose Properties for each personality, you'll see that option on the "Generic Properites" tab)

To setup the Relay Personality:

1. Go to Tools > Options > Sending mail

2. Enter your outgoing SMTP server (you've probably already got that entered)

3. In the SMTP Relay Personality dropdown box, select the appropriate personality

4. I have "Allow Authentication", "Immediate Send" and "Send on Check" checkmarked

5. The first time you send mail after setting this up, you will probably be asked for the password and that's the password for the Relay Personality. It should save it and you shouldn't have to enter it again.

6. Because I didn't really know what I was doing when I started with this, at one point, I did have to go to Special > Forget Passwords because I got things mucked up so if your send doesn't work, try doing that and then you will have to enter your passwords for each personality as you send from them the first time after you've done the "Forget Passwords".

Let me know if you have questions...hope it works for you...
