Yeah, the other day I reminded him of our last year's rate ($18/hr) and he was totally fine bringing it back up to that. As I said, I like working with him and the pay is good, so I'm going to just have him farm stuff out to me and not get fully investing by becoming his full-time guy. Besides, I'm not sure he realizes that I don't know nearly as much about screen printing as his current employee; if I were his sole artist, I'd get overwhelmed and backed up with work pretty quickly in the first few weeks.
