Making charts for publications
Hello,
I've been experimenting with indesign lately, in order to help a friend publish a community driven french newspaper-like publication in Athens. The problem is, she (my friend) wants to include some excel-like charts in the latest issue and I was wondering how it can be done. MS Excel provides the tools of course, but the quality is not suited for publishing. The lines are jagged, and it seems that pasting the chart in Indesign results in a bitmap which, if scaled, looks awful. Is there any application (preferably open source) that is easy to use and produces high quality charts for publication? Thanks in advance, George |
