Default Indesign linking text

Hi there,
I am setting up a page in where a couple of textboxes are placed. Each of the boxes are linked with an external text-file and has its own paragraph-style. That's all working fine. But if I update the text-files the textboxes lose their paragraph-style and return to style "[no paragraph style]", with the announcement "Edits have been madeto this object. You will lose these edits by updating. Update anyway?". I tried to enforce the paragraph by using the Option-shift-buttons to erase all previous formats, but no luck. It's probably something easy but I have no idea. Someone?
