Default Best fonts for cross-platform compatibility

Trying to figure out the best fonts to use for a set of documents (forms, etc.) that will be made available in Word format to various people. So I need to stick with fonts that everyone is likely to have, regardless of platform, OS, etc.

Arial and Times New Roman, for sure, but what other fonts are ubiquitous?

What about:

Georgia
Tahoma
Trebuchet
Verdana

I'm thinking that Macs might not have Calibri or Cambria -- is that right?

I'm open to suggestions, bearing in mind these need to be "standard" workhorse fonts, nothing with too much character (pun intended).
