Transparency AI CS2 to PNG
All of a sudden I am seeing a border around type set in Illustrator and converted to a PNG using Save for Web. It shows up in every browser.
The image is on a slightly colored background, but the outline shows up even if I change the background-color of the page to pure white, or even if I add a background behind the type in Illustrator. I have checked the transparency settings, added a background to the type in Illustrator, and still the outline appears. I even opened a new Illustrator document, reset the type, and saved that. Finally, I set the type in Photoshop and used Save for Web — I still see the outline. I resaved it as a GIF — same thing. Finally, I dug up an old type image — that I know for sure did not show an outline on the HTML page — and now it too has an outline around it. I would swear that outline wasn’t there last week, nor in any other type images I have created this way for web use. Am I going off my trolley? Have I been fooling myself all these years, failing to see a rectangular box around logos on all my pages? __________________ :: [SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] |
