Default adding quicktime videos to my page

How do I put a quicktime video on my site using DreamWeaver? I'm a 3D animator and I want to put some of the stuff that I've done on my site in a youtube style where the videos are visible and you just click play to start them. I've gotten them on my site but they all start playing automatically when the page opens. Also I don't know much about creating websites, would it be better for me to just have a link to the video?

thanks a lot,
Jacob
