Default ThinkPad X1 Laptop

I'm thinking of getting a ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 8 (14”) Laptop. On sale now but I'm not going to rush, And once is it off sale it might cost too much. I plan to pay extra and get onsite support. Here is what I need help deciding

1. Accidental Damage Protection? I usually don't get this. Thoughts?
2. Sealed Battery Replacement. Obtain a single battery replacement for any covered battery that fails to meet minimum performance standards.
3. Keep your Drive. This is if they replace a faulty drive, you keep the faulty so nobody can pry data off it.
4. Tech Install CRU: This means a tech will replace Customer Replaceable Unit parts, with the convenience of onsite installation by a qualified Lenovo Technician. What on earth would they expect me to replace myself. I can see this, maybe, on a desktop, but do they really want a customer opening up a laptop???

Okay, that is what I wanted feedback with. But I'll also include the obligatory specs. I don't think I'm shooting too low with this:

Processor: 10th Generation Intel® Core™ i7-10610U Processor with vPro™ (1.80 GHz, up to 4.90 GHz with Turbo Boost, 4 Cores, 8 Threads, 8 MB Cache)
Operating System: Windows 10 Pro 64
Display Type: 14.0" UHD (3840 x 2160) IPS, glossy with Dolby Vision™, HDR 400, 500 nits
Memory: 16 GB LPDDR3 2133MHz (Soldered)
Hard Drive: 1 TB PCIe SSD
Graphics: Integrated Intel® UHD Graphics
Camera: IR & 720p HD
Fingerprint Reader: Fingerprint Reader
Keyboard: Backlit - US English
Wireless: Intel® Wi-Fi 6™ AX201 802.11AX (2 x 2) & Bluetooth® 5.0 with vPro™

I'm going to have to ask them how the graphics can be "400,500 nits." Maybe two different modes. I'll have to check.
