Default Forum software upgrade

We plan to upgrade the forum software sometime on Sunday afternoon, US Eastern Standard Time.

The exact time hasn't been decided yet, but we'll give you a starting time closer to the actual upgrade. We shouldn't be offline for more than two hours, but in case you miss the notice, there will be a post on our Facebook page after the upgrade starts.

Wow, it all happened while I was out riding. Very speedy, thank you!

Yes, it was a trouble-free upgrade.

In for the first time since the UG on Monday AM. So far, everything feels as it should. I'll let you know if I find anything odd.

Thanks for all the hard work!

So what if anything changed? Or was this just a bug fixes upgrade?

It was mostly a security precaution, but there are some more social networking features, I believe. It was a small upgrade, from 3.8.6 to 3.8.7.

Thanks. I never noticed anything since I was away on a long weekend, and never noticed anything now either. Which I suppose is a good thing!

What social networking features? Other than this being forum software, of course.
