Plurals used as singular
Kathleen's 'word puzzle' thread has reminded me of something that has started happening here and puzzles me.
The word 'consortia', incorrectly pronounced as 'kon-SOR-shuh', is commonly used instead of 'consortium'. It drives me crazy. Is it happening elsewhere? __________________ |
