Default Drop shadow in InDesign

hi there,

i'm hoping someone will be able to help me out with this. i ran into a problem with applying a drop shadow in indesign cs1 today. i brought in an illustrator eps file and then went to apply a drop shadow in indesign, but instead of having a nice oval shaped drop shadow (to match the oval shaped image), the drop shadow was a dark box instead. i had a coworker open the file and she was able to see the drop shadow the way it was intended...as an oval. is there something that i should be adjusting in my preferences to fix this?
