Default Upgrade or not to upgrade, that is the question!

Visited ACD's web site today, in anticipation of the new version 11, wanting to know how to upgrade from an existing copy - at least I should get some indication of cost by the version 10 prices.

It seems that if you live outside of USA or Canada you can't upgrade even if you have an earlier version of the application...

Are my findings correct or is it just me not understanding something here?

Possibly works the same as with Paint Shop Pro: only people in the US deal directly with the company, every one else has to go through local resellers.

I had an invite to upgrade from V9 to Pro 2 for £49.99 - I have registered on their site to receive news. Just waiting to see if the d/b is compatible though, so I don't lose my keywords.

I just checked the site. I added Canvas X to my cart at full price. After it was in the cart, the site gave me an option for upgrading with a price of £52.17. I assume they would not have this currency if they did not sell to the UK.

I see no upgrade price for Canvas 11, but maybe that will show up once it is released.

We'll see what transpires when that finally happens!
