You might want to test drive the current version. It is the first version since 2.x that I've been willing to recommend. Of course, my needs are very simple. All I use it for it to view files, move files, and launch applications. For all I know all the advanced management features still don't work right.

One thing I had to take note of, though. I went to the ACDSee forum just to let them know how impressed I am by this version. They had changed their forum software to vBulletin 5 Connect. Interesting that they finally came out with a solid product, but switched to a version of vBulletin that is so bad no successful forum admin will touch it.
