I only had it (V8) for a couple of weeks before I realised it was using stupid pathnames so couldn't access stuff on the file server. They acknowledged this was a bug.

Version 9 was fine in use, but I wanted some of the extras in the pro version, so upgraded when made an enticing offer.

On XP, it is fine for me and hasn't crashed (yet) - but I have oodles of memory and a fairly fast processor now. It used to struggle a bit on my older desktop machine - but that was a home-built crate with an overclocked processor, about 5 years old. But the same was true of PSP X for instance.
