Add mp3 player to web page

I'd like to add a simple mp3 player interface to a web page. It would play an mp3 file located at the web site. The controls I want are the basic ones we usually see, such as play, pause, stop. Or just play and stop would work.

Have a look at this search: [MP3 player for website] - there are countless options. I do think you may need streaming support on your webserver though.

Although the reference to "the W3C spec" is a bit devious, as the HTML5 spec is still under development (note that it links to the 'dev' subdomain!).

And - probably superfluous - but you do have the rights to play this MP3 on the web don't you?

It's my song done at my recording session. And I still don't know how I'm going to get it from cassette to mp3, or if the tape still works.

I was thinking of just re-recording myself into my computer, but I discovered yesterday I can't play guitar anymore.

I have still got my bass. I keep having to move it every time I need to access my routers, but doubt if I can play it any more. The amp is under a pile of books......

Not the one I used to play back then; I originally played guitar but moved to bass after some of the other band members moved away and the band turned into a drums+guitar+bass+singer quartet. The bass belonged to one of the other guys (nice one, though .. Fender Jazz bass). About ten years ago, I picked up an acoustic/electric bass; haven't played it much in years though. I mostly play acoustic guitar now.

Mine sort of moves around depending on what it's blocking when and where it was left last. Comes in handy once in a while though for various non-bass-related purposes. PA system sometimes and most recently amplification for an electronic keyboard at a choral performance.
