Default Upgrade to Acrobat Pro DC

Here's a comparison to past versions. As you can see DC does not have to be run via the cloud. And you do not have to subscribe. You can buy a desktop version. I just upgraded from Acrobat Pro X. Not sure why, though.

The upgrade prices is $200 minus $1. Here is what qualifies: Acrobat XI or X Pro; Acrobat X Suite; Acrobat Standard DC, XI or X Standard.

BTW, I figured out the best way to navigate the Adobe site. I search for what I want on Google and click the link. Much better than trying to use the site's interface.

Interesting that Adobe now has a poorly-designed site and Corel has the better one.
