Default Epson 3000/RIP replacement for Quark 6.5?

I have a small office which is now using Quark 6.5. They have been using Quark 4.x, 5.x and printing via Epson's RIP to the Epson 3000.

Quark 6.5 (Isn't supported printing to the rip), Can someone share with me their suggestions as to if in fact Quark 6.5 is able to print to the RIP Server, and if not, based on your experience - recommend a replacement printer/means of printing for quark 6.5. How will it handle printing from older versions of Quark?
