Newbie seeking help with HTML/images issue
Hello--I am absolutely new to this world of web page design. I'm taking a class on Internet and Electronic Resources and one of our assignments is to create a web page using HTML. It's due Wednesday evening, July 26, and I am having trouble getting my photos to show up--when I use the HTML code we've been told to use, <IMG SRC=filename.jpg> (or .gif, or whatever extension the file has), all I get are those annoying little white boxes with red x's in them.
I can't post the URL because I'm to hand it in on CD and the instructor will post it, but if anyone can help me resolve this issue I'll be very grateful (and I will let you know the URL once it's up, just in case you're interested). Please remember that I am absolutely new at this so you must assume you are talking to someone with no prior knowledge of these things. Thanks for any help anyone can give! It will be much appreciated. Rebecca N |
