Default USB drive prices and features

I can't keep up with the price drops in hard disks. It is unbelievable. So unbelievable that I wonder if quality has dropped too.

For example, this WD 4TB USB 3.0 bus-powered secure portable hard drive for $119. With six colors to choose from. Although, I wonder why they didn't include beige :-)

The thing is I always wonder how secure the encryption is. There are discussions all over the Internet about how to crack things.
