You don't mention which version of Excel you use or even whether you're on PC or Mac so it's hard to suggest anything.

If on PC, try putting each Excel chart on its own chartsheet rather than on the original worksheet. Then select the whole chart and instead of pasting to other applications, choose Paste Special.

That will give you a number of choices; more than likely Metafile and/or Enhanced metafile will be among them. Try one of those.
