I did some experimenting on incrementally resizing stuff in IDCS last night and thought I'd put it in one post...
Note: the following are for the pc--anyone on a mac wanna play? IDCS: Keystrokes for Incremental Resizing: 1. Font size in a Text Frame: Click on text with either the Selection (V) or Direct Selection (A) tool: ctrl+shift+< (decrease the font size) ctrl+shift+> (increase the font size) 2. Text Frame size: Click on text with the Selection (V), Direct Selection (A) or Type (T) tool: ctrl+alt+, (comma - decrease frame size) ctrl+alt+. (period - increase frame size) 3. Placed Image and Frame size: Click on image with the Selection (V) tool: ctrl+alt+, (comma - decrease image and frame size) ctrl+alt+. (period - increase image and frame size) 4. Placed image only: Click on image with the Direct Selection (A) tool: ctrl+alt+, (comma - decrease image size; if stroke has been applied around the image, the stroke "frame" size is not changed) ctrl+alt+. (period - increase image size cropping image within the confines of the original image size, the stroke "frame" matches cropped image) |
