Default Limited Time! A very good deal on Photoshop CS6

If anyone is looking to buy Photoshop CS6, B & H Photo is running an excellent deal in which you get Lightroom and Photoshop CS 6 (with some other goodies) for $389.90 (vs. regular price of $789.90)--the link has both the mac and the windows version...

According to the page, "Offer ends August 31st"...

If that's a full version it's good. Upgrade version it's not.

How odd because I know B & H do international sales. While I've known of B & H for many, many years, this is the first time I've ever bought anything from them. They have a very good reputation here in the States...

Ok...just double checked this and the offer is gone...I guess I didn't read the offer expiration correctly in that I took "ends on August 31st" to mean that it was good through August 31st...guess not...'-}}

It's the full version--I double checked that before ordering...'-}}

I don't know what I'm going to do with Lightroom because I doubt I will ever use it....guess maybe I'll sell it on ebay or something...

That would have been my understanding too! I generally use PSP x4 anyway at present, so no big loss.

I'm still using Photoshop 7 primarily because I got sooo pissed off at Adobe when they started requiring activation. I'm still pissed off about it but one of the guys at the build shop told me that I wouldn't be able to run 7 on the new system. After browsing around online, that's not quite true but apparently it can be problematic to get 7 to install and run so I decided that my being pissed of at Adobe did not in any way affect Adobe, why was I having this system built with all that lovely RAM if I didn't have software that could actually use it and I guess I've taken my principled stand long enough so...Photoshop CS 6 it is...'-}}
