Brent found a Quark file he'd done a few months ago for a client, where he'd saved the PDF. He then created a new PDF, and it was pixellated, while the old one looked great--on the new screen.

We changed the monitor a few weeks ago, and that's the only change that Brent can think of. He'd had a Studio 21-inch display, but now has a Samsung Syncmaster 930B 19-inch display (at 1280x1024). Would Quark for any reason decide to go low-res because the display changed?
