Default Web or email to SMS

Web or email to SMS is what I want to figure out, and I am not getting very far with Wikipedia or elsewhere. My niece has DIGI cell phone service here in Malaysia, but their site gives no information, either. I posted a message in their support forum yesterday, but no answer so far.

I need to know just what I put in the telephone number field, whether, for example, I need country code and even international call prefixes to the number. Also, I need to know just what goes after the @ sign in the email address. I have that for other cell phone providers, but not DIGI.

I will still be here in Malaysia (going from KL to Ipoh this morning by bus), for over another week, so learning how to do the SMS would still be helpful. I don't have access to a cell phone, but I could send SMS. Email to my niece is not very reliable, because she doesn't check it often enough.
