Default Accolade font?

I am going to be working with the beta version of an office applications suite. Along with the software, they included a batch of fonts, one of which is Accolade. That's a font I haven't heard of, but it looks to be a rather nice serif font.

I can't find any information about it other than that it was designed by someone named Chew Loon in 1979. Does anyone know if Accolade is suitable for use as body text for books?
