Default Logo critique: dental lab

My client wants a revised logo. I don't think they necessarily want it fully redone, but refined and standardized, so I'm keeping the main colors and font for now. Attached are my variations (the top four/eight are lumped together as slight variations of one another) and their current logo.

The current logo has awkward balance/white space, which I improved. I dislike they're use of grey text, which makes it slightly dim. Lastly, I'd like to include the tooth somehow to help imply "dental," but my opinions seem limited. I'd appreciate feedback.
