Default Fonts included by MS Office

Periodically the question of "What fonts came with which versions of MS Office" comes up.

MS has long had a Typography section of their website that includes lists of fonts that ship with various versions of Windows, Office and other MSware. Unfortunately, updates seem to've slowed down in 2002 or so, and have more or less ceased since.

One of the Office help team [SFX: Hums the Ode to Joy] has been trying to correct that and has just published this list of the fonts that ship with various Office versions:

It still needs a bit of work, so I've eNudged about:

- Including MacOS Office versions

- More specifics about which fonts are optional depending on the other options you choose when installing Office

- Including Windows font lists
