franca: That's quite impressive that you got your scanner installed.
I was pleased...had a small difficultly later in the evening when I tried to use it and the copier wouldn't work and then realized I'd installed Vuescan after I'd installed the Epson scanner drivers. I had just opened Vuescan to make sure the install was ok and apparently, since the 2450 is the only scanner installed (I usually use Vuescan with my slide scanner but haven't installed it yet), Vuescan thought it should set itself as the 2450 driver--Vuescan has it's own 2450 driver. It just took me a second or two to change the driver back to Epson's and all was well.

LOL! I know that feeling! Scanner prices have come way down. I can't remember exactly what I paid for my first scanner--a Umax (???)--but I think it might have been $600-$800??? At any rate, A LOT OF MONEY...'-}}
