Default For Nikon users: useful freeware

I have just tested a nifty bit of software to use on a shoot in the next week or two, having shown the client the preview images on the camera LCD, got the OK, then a resounding "no" when they saw the finished shots.

It is a camera control script that allows you to shoot, and then preview images almost immediately, on the PC to which the camera is tethered. You can buy software from Nikon to do this (Canon users get it free), but I don't use it often enough to do so.

So, next week it will be camera, tripod, laptop, and cables! As it will be on the Cobb, I shall have to be very careful not to trip over a lead and shoot the lot into the sea.

Works with most dSLRs after the D70 - I tested D80 on XP.
