The last time I conversed with Kathleen was June, 2008, in one of our private messages dealing with life events. I loved this woman with a heart of gold, someone who so quickly made me feel right at home at CompuServe's DTP forum. Many times when under a deadline and facing a "crisis" of a layout problem or font issue, or whatever, she saved the day, adding her famous "Relax and have some cheese and wine." <s>

I was stunned to learn today of her passing as I haven't been here since 2008. I just read the remaining private messages, confirming her warmth, empathy, and cheerfulness in spite of her illnesses. I'll treasure them. My DTP business was made easier to learn thanks to her and others for the advice and welcoming spirit.

Rest in peace dear woman. And thank you for being who you were for me and so many others.
