It may be that your recipients are set up to view messages in plain text (i.e. automatically convert your styled text to plain text when it comes in). If that's the case, and their default message viewing font is set to Arial 8, then that's all they'll see. In other words, the problem is at their end, and they need to change their preferences so that fonts display in a bigger face.

The only way you could force the font to display the way you want them to see it would be to send the message as a PDF (or something like that).
