Thank you Franca....

BTW You have a beautiful name. Very common in my country. Except we spell it with K instead C.

Hello Nikola,

I just had a quick look at your site and had to leave, otherwise I'd have spent the day there. I'll be back.

When I'm evaluating any "expert" I like to ask questions that I already know the answers to. The first article I looked at on your site was the one about dealing with photographers; I was a professional photographer for 25 years or so.

By the time I finished reading the first paragraph, you had won. You described *exactly* the kind of collaboration I'd always had with my best clients, the ones who got the best work out of me AND themselves.

Nicely done!

Thank you Steve. I am glad that you with such an experience find the article valuable.

25 years in photography is long time.

The main goal of that article and others that I gonna write is not only to offer knowledge about certain things but experience also.
Experience in our profession is extremely valuable. Knowledge you can learn, but some things come with experience.

As I stated in the article when I was younger and inexperienced I had to deal with a lot of "attitudes".
Trust me when I say that some photo materials that I got from some "photographers" were plain rubbish.

And after some time when I got more experienced and interested in packshot photography I even had to tell some "photographers" how to setup lighting sources so that the images are shadowless and backgrounds different from the products.

It all comes with time and experience. Today I know what I want and how to get it. I work with few photographers that I picked up along the way and that are great and I have a great communication with them.

Sad thing is that everyone thinks that they can be good at what they do and you have to be careful not to hurt their feelings.

Hope you will find some more useful stuff on my site.

Thank you

Thank you! I'm told it's very common in Italy with the C. Not that I'm Italian. My mother simply liked the name Francesca (which is my official full name), but gave me the nickname Franca immediately to fend off any other nicknames people might have come up with when they discovered they couldn't pronounce Francesca. Nikola is also a very nice name!
