I have set up a client with Win8. No complaints so far. I basically removed most of the 'Modern' apps and hid non-useful Desktop apps. The Win Key gets one to that display to launch whatever program one needs. I think for my own computer that might get a bit old, but I have far more programs hanging around than the average user.

Let us know how you are getting along with Win 8 in few weeks.
