steve: I actually do trust some of the people who love Windows 8
ROFL!!! It will be interesting to see Win8 play out...my personal take is that while I understand (at least some of) Microsoft's reasoning, I do think they've made a big mistake in thinking anyone with a desktop system is going to want this piece of cra...uhn...software...'-}}

Thanks for that link...if I'd seen that I might have gone to ImgBurn--I may well move in that direction if i find that that Nero 6 is problematic...

>>Ah, right. You're a tea-drinker. ;-)))

That's it! '-}}

Actually, it is sort of funny...whenever my sister (the one who lives next door) is over here and we are doing something on my system she knows to stand back, move to the other room, put her fingers in here ears when I open something like WinCim because, for her, it's wwwwaaayyyyy too loud and for me, I can just hear it...'-}}

I have spent the day working on my old laptop--use it as a backup system--getting my HP2200D set up and tested just in case I find that Virtual WinXP doesn't do the trick for Quicken4 and WinCim. The XP drivers installed quite nicely and I had no problems printing on my 4x6 cardstock so I have a reasonable alternate solution and...it would get me to fire up the laptop at least once a month to run Quicken4 for my checks...'-}}
