I'm using KeePass for keeping all my passwords - and more - in a single database.

The program is available for a bunch of different platforms, and also for mobile use from a USB stick.

The stick is where I keep the single database, which can be accessed from a mobile Windows version on the stick, or a mobile Mac version on the same stick, or an installed version on my Debian-powered netbook. The database is protected with a single password (I use a long pass phrase actually) - and that is all I need to remember! I also have a version on my Android phone (which cannot use the stick, obviously, so I have to copy over the database every now and then).

Not just passwords, but also handy for things like account information (banks cards, credit cards) and software registrations. Each entry has a 'notes' section (which I use extensively, such as for recording what data I give a site when signing up).

Of course it has a built-in, very flexible password generator, which can generate really strong passwords.

Obviously, when I make changes/additions, I make a backup that same evening.

Free your passwords from your browser! KeePass is free, open source software.

Very highly recommended!
