You have to remember that many Mac users are blissfully unaware WHAT the file format is. Making a file cross-platform, or not, is simply beyond their understanding of computers. Actually, the same is true of many, if not most, Windows users. I have some who try to open PDFs with Word. The difference between the File Open dialog box in Word looks to them much like Window Explorer......
