Default 3D effect...

Was looking for an album by an obscure American band from the 80's when I came across a web site that sounded promising. As it turned out (when I managed to focus on the list of bands) it was not at all what I was after.

Nevertheless, the background is kind of 3D, which is an interesting effect, but what makes people do this? Don't they want visitors to actually read what's there, or do they just want to give us a headache?

Just wanted to share.
