Default RIP Shauna Kelly

I've just heard from a friend that Shauna Kelly, Word guru and MSMVP, died a couple of weeks ago.

Anyone who has wrestled in the mud with Word numbering and similar gotchas will know her as a shining beacon of reason in the face of annoyingly inept programming.

Apparently she crammed a lot into her last six months, having been told her cancer was terminal. I hope she managed to wring the last drops of juice out of life.

If you have Word problems, do check out www.shaunakelly.com and save anything you need, as I imagine the site will eventually disappear.

Grabbing the site contents is probably a good idea, but Shauna being Shauna, arrangements will likely have been made to keep the site on the air or to have someone else adopt the contents. I've known her for years and this past winter had a chance to spend a good deal of time with her and many of her close friends. All you say of her is true, and much more. She was howlingly funny and one of those rare people that somehow turns any gathering into a party. She was a brilliant, delightful woman. We'll miss her.
