Andrew -- 17. is 2 years ago, the 2010 version, which was the first of the beginning to be light-footed.

I would hold back with the 2012 for a while, not that I and a lot of others are having problems with it but because with different system configurations who knows what you might run into?

What I would do is upgrade to 2011 for which I can give you a download link for the last edition of that year but while waiting to hear from you I'll ask about the Sony partner version. I know I had a Norton 360 once that was a special for Office Depot and listed them as the source for technical support.
