Last week, my Kindle started shutting itself down shortly after turning it on, then when it did work, it wanted a wireless connection although I have the 3G model. I found the contact area on Amazon for Kindle, and you can enter your phone number and click on "Call immediately". I did and my phone rang the instant I pressed the button. Next time you need help with your Kindle, look for that option. The response is quick. Don't opt for them calling you in 5 minutes, though. It won't happen.
