Inexpensive pass thorugh fax machines with the ability to process a bunch of sheets and to print by thermal, inkjet or laser would be the way to go I think.

For your books just use your normal flat bed scanner to scan to printer and then fax the printed pages .... You can even improve the scans by scanning to image first if you want to.

As a quick idea of choices, not necessarily to buy from:


although I like OD and Staples if only for their money back no questions warranty.
