Yeah, thanks Robin. To be honest, I don't think it owes me anything after all this time. If I'm to replace it, with an A4 flatbed, used mainly for scanning text pages in b/w and greyscale, my inclination would be for another inexpensive Epson, unless you have a better suggestion.
