I have been in this situation any number of times. I keep a fairly current version of MBAM on a flash drive. Boot into Safe Mode. Install from the flash drive. If an internet connection is available, allow MBAM to update. Then run a full scan.

It matters not what other AV you have installed. MBAM is not a realtime scanner and it does not interfere with other AV s/w,

I also keep a copy of VipreRescue. http://live.sunbeltsoftware.com/

Run it and let it scan. The download includes a full set of current definitions, so is updated often. Which means it works on machines without an internet connection.

Happy hunting. BTW, my current favorite resident product is Vipre. http://vipreantivirus.com/ and I never buy the firewall version. Too many hard-to-understand pop-ups.
