Judy, that is an interesting idea, but I don't leave my computer on all the time. Putting the files on my web space has the advantage that they are accessible 24/7. And they are offsite if I should have another computer meltdown.

Also I am getting up to hundreds of GB of data that will go into the eventual books or web sites. I suspect I will create web sites that I can update as I get more information. The "kids" that are the next generation don't want books they have to lug around. Websites with the information a click away are better for them.

Even if I do that, I may keep the sites or portions of them password protected so I can put information for the current generation online.

I am already paying for unlimited web space and only have a few MBs on it. I might as well use that.
