Default create PDFs on the fly

If you use PHP and MySQL then you might be interested in FPDF which is a PHP library that allows you to create PDF documents on the fly. It's a free download, but I'd be happy to send a donation if it were possible.

So, for example, I'm using it to generate invoices and receipts - pull the information from your database, press the button and, voila, a PDF document. At the same time it also updates other files and saves me a whole heap of time and effort. Don'cha just love it when things work well?

I'm sure it'll have other uses too... I'm working on it...;-)

You're welcome - hope you find it useful...

...there's another (free) piece of kit called FPDI which will - apparently - import existing PDFs. I haven't investigated that yet but will get round to it.
